Ingmar Kreibohm started playing the trumpet at the age of 10 in the school band at the John F. Kennedy School in Berlin, Germany, under the direction of Dr. Eric Hinton.  He also took lessons with Michael Stodd (Principal Trumpet with the Komische Oper Berlin).

Ingmar studied orchestral trumpet with Prof. William Forman at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" Berlin.  After attending a master class with Prof. Malte Burba he then continued his studies with him in Mainz.
Ingmar teaches trumpet and conducts several wind ensembles and chamber music ensembles at the Peter Cornelius Conservatory in Mainz.  His newest project is a Beginner's Concert Band for adults.
