Anton Richter grew up in Berlin and plays principal horn in the Staatstheater Saarbrücken since 2017.  He is also an assistant teacher of the horn class of Prof. Christian-Friedrich Dallmann at the UdK Berlin and is a certified Burba®BrassTeacher since 2018.

After his Abitur in 2011, Anton studied with Prof. Dallmann at the UdK and graduated with his masters degree in Spring 2018.

During his studies, he played in the academy of the DSO Berlin.  He also played with the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Mecklenburgische Staatstheater Schwerin.

As a son of two musicians, Anton Richter began to learn to play the cello at the age of 5.  He successfully participated in many youth orchestras and competitions, such as a frist prize at the international Willkommirski Competition for young cellists.  At the age of 19, Anton decided that horn playing would be his first priority.

Master classes and lessons on a regular basis with Prof. Malte Burba and Bill Petry helped him overcome his brass playing problems.
